Some news about the new single: It's rumored that the new single will be out in July. It'll be the first single out of the new album. Hey guys! We are back from recording in Australia and the new album is awesome! We can't wait for you all to hear it. Meanwhile Harry ran the marathon on Sunday despite his injury and still managed to run it in under 4 hours - well done to Harry! Thanks to everyone who donated for charity! We have another new summer show going on sale next Friday 18 April! - it's a co-bill on 12 July with Sugababes in Surrey. "Harry is so supportive, always encouraging" Izzy
I found an article about Harry, Izzy, her brother and teenage cancer trust, you can read it bellow: The blonde violinist who dazzled Simon Cowell is used to the celebrity life with her boyfriend from band McFly... She is one quarter of the glamorous girl group bidding for stardom on the television show Britain's Got Talent. But blonde violinist Izzy Johnston, who dazzled judge Simon Cowell as part of the sexy string quartet Scala, is already used to the demands of celebrity. Unknown to millions of viewers, she has been dating boy band star Harry Judd of McFly for two-and-a-half years. The 22-year-old singer ran the London Marathon the day after Scala's performance on the hit ITV show to raise money for Izzy's disabled brother Rupert. So far, Harry's efforts have brought in £25,000 for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) and the Teenage Cancer Trust. BIRT helped Rupert on the long road to recovery after he suffered brain damage in a car accident 12 years ago, and since 2002 he has lived at Kent House, the trust's residential rehabilitation centre in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Izzy, 24, said: "Harry and I are very happy together. It's probably just a coincidence that we are both musical. I introduced him to Rupert because he is a big part of my life." She and Harry met in 2005 when Scala supported McFly on tour. The four girls impressed judges Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden in the first episode of the show last week. "Harry's so supportive, always encouraging," said Izzy. Harry, who has had seven No1 singles with McFly, is also keen to help Rupert, 30, who was severely injured after his car ran into the back of an articulated lorry on the M25 in 1996. "Harry thinks Rupert is wonderful," Izzy said. "After the crash he had to stay in hospital for a year. "He was in intensive care, slipped into a coma, got MRSA and then his lung collapsed from pneumonia. The doctors asked my parents if they wanted to turn the life support machine off. "Rupert's a miracle. Sometimes he can be really funny. On Saturday he was so excited after seeing the show, he rang me to tell me, 'They liked your legs, didn't they Izzy.' "He's a wonderful character. He's blind in one eye and has metal plates in his face but amazingly his mouth and jaw were not affected so he plays the French horn. "We visit him about twice a month and take him out for a pizza and bowling and a pint in the pub." McFly recently took part in the recording of a charity album called 'Over The Rainbow'. As part of a new 'Challenge Anneka' programme on the TV next Tuesday June 5th on ITV1, it was Anneka's task to set up a gala concert and record a whole album in aid of children's hospices. McFly got involved in this worthy cause and recorded a brand new, exclusive version of 'You're The One That I Want'. Songwriter Tom learns to McFly
It was destined to happen, I suppose — TOM FLETCHER is taking McFLY-ing lessons. The singer has followed in the showbiz footsteps of TOM CRUISE, JOHN TRAVOLTA and ANGELINA JOLIE by spending his hard-earned cash on learning to be a pilot. And Tom’s new cockpit skills will come in handy for McFly bandmate DANNY JONES — who I can exclusively reveal is facing a driving ban because of a speeding offence. Tom told me: “I might try to buy a plot of land out the back of my house and put in a landing strip. “I had my first lesson on Saturday. Danny could lose his licence soon so I could be his taxi service.” Tom’s Top 10 No1s Even without the wings, Tom is already flying high. McFly’s single, the double A-side Baby’s Coming Back/Transylvania, reached No1 last week and marked the TENTH chart-topper Tom has penned. And the rocker is still only 21. I met up with him to see his new £2million, five-bedroom gaff near Watford to chat about the amazing achievment that puts him up with SIR ELTON JOHN, QUEEN and ROBBIE WILLIAMS in the songwriting stakes. McFly have now had seven No1s — placing the band ahead of Queen and Robbie, level with Elton and U2, and just one behind OASIS in the all-time UK No1s list. But on top of these, Tom has also co-written three other No1s with BUSTED. And he has no intention of slowing down — he wants McFly to beat ELVIS’s record of 21 UK No1s. Yet no matter how often they top the charts, Tom feels the band don’t get the credit their success deserves. He said: “With a pop act people tend to not really acknowledge you, which has been a bit frustrating over the last few years. “But I think credibility comes with success. No one doubts Robbie Williams’ credibility and song writing but he came from TAKE THAT, the most stereotypical boy band in pop. “We never take it for granted. Whenever a single is out you are always nervous for the whole week.” The four-piece, who will play the V Festival in August, are so close that they are neighbours too. When Tom showed the boys his house guitarist Danny and bassist DOUGIE POYNTER instantly put deposits down for apartments in a building across the street. And drummer HARRY JUDD has bought his own place just down the road. Tom explained: “The lads own the top and bottom floors of a three-storey block. We have our own studio on the middle floor so we see each other all the time. “As soon as they moved in they put a skateboard ramp in over the landscaped garden.”
